| Description | REGISTRATION Open to Executive Edition members only through May 24. General registration, open to all, is $100 and runs from May 24 - June 18. Late registration is $125, from June 19 - 21. There will be no registration at the door.

Afterward, he will answer questions from the group. Tiffany will talk to Pete about building a company and brand from a small family enterprise into a global power. They’ll talk about vision, strategy, execution, what’s next and the global moto opportunity. Pete started working at the company when he was 6. From Fox’s humble beginnings in 1974 as distributor for European motocross parts, Pete has seen firsthand the company’s evolution into a full-fledged action sports brand with revenue exceeding $200 million, 500 employees, and offices in Morgan Hill and Irvine, Calif., and Newcastle, UK. Breakfast and coffee will be served, and in addition to the formal program, we’ll have plenty of time for informal discussions before and after the session. In 2007, facing seemingly insurmountable odds, the Surfrider Foundation went up against the Transportation Corridors Agency (TCA) in an attempt to stop a proposed toll road project that threatened San Onofre State Beach Park and the nearby surfing resources. Despite being massively out-spent, out-staffed and out-lobbied by their opponent, Surfrider went on to fight what has been referred to as a “text book grassroots battle” to beat the TCA and save Trestles.
SPEAKERS
Matt McClain – Director of Marketing and Communications, is a twenty-five year veteran of the action sports industry. After getting his start in the 80’s with skateboarding mail order giant CCS, Matt spent much of the next decade leading sales and marketing efforts for Mammoth Mountain and Telluride Ski Resort. In addition to his work at the Surfrider Foundation, Matt currently sits on the Board of Directors for Protect Our Winters, and has also served on the Board for Life Rolls On.
Mark Rauscher – Assistant Environmental Director, studied Oceanography at Florida Institute of Technology, before pursuing a graduate degree in Coastal Geology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Over the last decade, Mark has helped design many of the environmental programs that have become central to the Surfrider Foundation efforts, including Beachscape and Respect The Beach.
Stefanie Sekich – Coastal Campaign Specialist, has over 13 years of experience as a campaign and community organizer for for environmental and social service nonprofits. Stefanie is now heading up the Surfrider Foundation’s efforts to stop expanded offshore oil and gas drilling off our country’s coasts.

The Board Retailers Association (BRA) is hosting two Retailer Survivor Series one day prior to the opening of the Surf Expo trade show on January 13, 2010 and the ASR trade show on February 2, 2010. Retailers are encouraged to take advantage of the trip to the trade shows by attending a full-day of certified retail education focused on current market issues facing specialty retailers. The primary purpose of the Retailer Survivor Series is to educate retailers and provide the tools necessary to continue to survive the market and increase profitability. The Retailer Survivor Series is an eight track program with two tracks running simultaneously at each show:
